07 · press clarifications

Three press items. One criterion: documents.

What has been published about me, what the documents show and what they do not. No adjectives; dates, contracts and receipts, so each reader reaches their own conclusion. The full Spanish version carries every document embedded; this page is a faithful summary with the same links.

01 · El País, December 3, 2025

An El País report on the Álvarez Puga network

The report. “The Álvarez Puga scandal ensnares Mexico’s political, business and celebrity elites” (El País, December 3, 2025, Spanish and English editions). Drawing on tax-audit documents, it lists 89 people who, according to the tax filings of Gupea Construcciones, S.A. de C.V. and Ismael Infante Loredo, received payments recorded as “payroll and fees” in 2016 and 2017. About me it says two things: that I appear with 1.2 million pesos, and that I am “identified as a front man for Miguel Ángel Yunes Linares.” It does not say who identifies me that way, nor cite any document for it. The piece circulated again from October 30, 2026, after the arrest of Inés Gómez Mont.

That I appear in the tax filings of Gupea Construcciones and Ismael Infante Loredo for 1.2 million pesos, as “payroll and fees”, in 2016–2017.
Not on my side, and I expressly deny it. I do not know that company or that person. I never worked for them, was never on their payroll and never invoiced them. In Mexico every payroll or fee payment requires the payer to issue a digital tax receipt (CFDI) to the recipient. The SAT portal, checked month by month for all of 2016 and 2017 on October 31, 2026, shows no CFDI issued to my tax ID by either of them, and none from me to them. What a company tells the tax authority it paid, and what a person actually received, are verified in the CFDI and at the bank. In my CFDI it is not there, and neither is it at the bank: the nine 2017 statements I keep (January–April, June, August–October) show not one deposit from Gupea Construcciones or Ismael Infante Loredo. Every rent payment was deposited by the tenant itself, from its own accounts, with the concept “pago renta” or “pago factura” (table below).
That I received money from companies in that network.
True, and it was rent. From January 2017 to June 2019 I issued one lease CFDI a month for my office at Reforma 250, Mexico City: first to Seguridad Privada, Inteligencia Cibernética, S.A. de C.V. and, after a notarized assignment on March 30, 2017, to Integra Software, S.A. de C.V. That is 30 valid receipts of $315,315 pesos a month (VAT included), each with its tax folio, as listed by the SAT itself in documents 6–9 below. In June 2019 they vacated, settled the arrears and the restoration of the premises (documents 2 and 3), and there was no relationship afterwards. A landlord collects rent; how a third party classifies its payments in its own books is neither under the landlord’s control nor known to him.
That I am a “front man” for Miguel Ángel Yunes Linares.
Not so, and I expressly deny it. It is answered under item 03 below: I know him from Veracruz, my company did work for a state agency while he was an official there, and Silodisa won by public tender the contract of the institution he headed; between him and me there is not, and has never been, any shareholding, power of attorney, loan or payment. El País does not say who “identifies” me that way. The only public source that has ever used that word about me is a 2013 opinion column (item 03 below), which cites no document either.
That El País sought the version of those named.
It did not seek mine. No one from that outlet contacted me before or after publication. This page is my answer, open to documented correction.

What I invoiced those tenants, per the SAT

2019Integra Software (Jan–Jun, closing)8variable at closing$2,225,059.73

Amounts include VAT, as the SAT lists them. Receipts cancelled and reissued within the same month count once; November and December 2018 were left without a valid receipt. None of this is payroll or fees: all of it is individual lease income under Mexican income-tax law (LISR, Title IV, Ch. III), duly declared. The 1.2 million figure published by El País does not match any receipt of mine, issued or received.

The landlord’s personal BBVA account; no statement kept for July, November or December (no rent deposit in August or October; August’s came in on September 8). The full statements contain other personal transactions and are not published; they are available to any authority that requires them. Not one line in any of the nine months names Gupea Construcciones, Ismael Infante Loredo or anyone in the network other than the tenant as payer.

02 · the lease

An office lease at Reforma 250

My relationship with Integra Software, S.A. de C.V. was that of an owner renting out an office. Nothing else. Lease contract of January 17, 2017 (offices C1 and C2, 11th floor, Reforma Capital tower); notarized assignment of the lease to Integra Software on March 30, 2017; two wire transfers from Integra on May 31, 2019 whose bank-written concepts read “PAGO ADEUDO RENTA” (rent arrears) and “PAGO RESTAURACIONES” (restoration of the premises); income declared to the SAT as lease income for 2017–2019. There is no document showing any partnership, power of attorney, mandate, directorship or guarantee of mine in Integra or in any company of that network. If anyone has one, this page will publish it.

03 · a 2013 column

A 2013 column on Silodisa and the ISSSTE

“Falsa entrega de medicamentos” (Índice Político, August 2013) claims that Silodisa defrauded the ISSSTE in 2010 and that I am a “front man” for Yunes Linares. It cites no file, audit, official letter or ruling of any authority, and no named source other than its author. Silodisa provided pharmaceutical logistics to the ISSSTE from 2009 to 2018, under several administrations of the Institute and two federal governments of different parties, with no audit findings, no internal-control proceeding and no criminal complaint over that contract; it is not on the federal register of sanctioned suppliers. First, what did happen, because it is public: I know Yunes Linares from Veracruz, where a state agency hired my software company to solve transport problems while he was an official there. In 2009 Silodisa won, by public tender, the ISSSTE pharmaceutical-logistics contract while he was the Institute’s director general; the contract ran until 2018, eight years after he left, under three more directors general and two federal governments of different parties. A front man holds in his name what belongs to someone else. Silodisa is a partnership between Innovación 3PL (logistics, where I am a partner with Raúl López Gutiérrez) and Fármacos Especializados (pharmaceutical); its partners are a matter of public record. Yunes Linares has never held any share, power of attorney, loan or payment in any company of mine, nor I in his. Knowing an official and winning a tender from the institution he heads is not being his front man. The column’s own history is in the Spanish version, with sources and dates.
