The logistics sector is constantly evolving, and so are we. As you know, we are implementing a new, robust process in our distribution area for logging the departures and arrivals of all our vehicles.
This important adjustment responds to an increasingly demanding regulatory environment from the Mexican government. The SAT (Mexico’s tax authority), through regulations such as the Carta Porte Supplement, rightly seeks to formalize the transport of goods throughout the country and make it transparent. This means a detailed record of every route and of the associated travel expenses, such as meals, overnight stays, ferries and tolls, making sure that every receipt is valid for tax purposes.
Far from seeing this as an obstacle, at Silodisa we embrace it as an opportunity to demonstrate our operational excellence. We support these measures, which promote legality and fair competition.
