Sometimes the biggest, most meaningful actions don’t come in containers or on pallets, but in a simple bottle of water. This week, at our Huehuetoca warehouse, we witnessed the birth of an initiative that, while simple in its execution, is huge in its message: the "Driver Welcome."
We want to share this story with all of you, because it reflects the culture we are building together and is a reason to feel deeply proud to belong to this company.
The Origin: A Philosophy of Respect
It all started with a question that came from the heart of our culture, a vision that our HR Director always reminds us of: where do our values end? The answer was clear: they don’t end at our doors. That is how the idea was born to extend our warmth to every person in our value chain, especially to the truck drivers who are the engine of our industry.
The mission: to welcome every driver who arrives at our facilities, no matter which company they come from, with a gesture of humanity.
The Execution: A Bottle That Speaks
This week, under the leadership of our Director of Operations in Huehuetoca and his incredible team, the idea became a reality. Every driver who arrives at the gatehouse receives a 1.5-liter bottle of water, a vital detail for someone who spends hours on the road.
But it is not just any bottle. Each one carries a special label with messages that speak for us:
- Gratitude: "We value your commitment and professionalism. Thank you for all you do!"
- Safety: "Obey the road signs, protect your life. The road is a dangerous place, but your caution can make the difference."
